# Expedition XP312w – D Band Rechargeable Portable PA with Handheld Wireless System and Bluetooth® Samson Audio Tech/Pro Audio Gear

## Samson Expedition XP312w-D Rechargeable 300W Portable PA with Handheld Wireless Microphone & Bluetooth

**Take powerful sound, wireless freedom and rechargeable portability almost anywhere your event takes you.**

The Samson Expedition XP312w-D is a **300-watt rechargeable portable PA system** built for musicians, DJs, presenters, schools, houses of worship, fitness instructors and event professionals who need reliable sound without being tied to a wall outlet.

This D-Band configuration combines a powerful 2-way PA speaker, rechargeable battery, built-in 4-channel mixer, Bluetooth audio streaming and an included **Samson Concert 88a frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless microphone system**.

With up to **12 hours of rechargeable battery operation**, integrated wheels and a retractable handle, the XP312w is ready for indoor venues, outdoor functions and mobile applications where a conventional PA system may be inconvenient.

### How Does the Samson Expedition XP312w Work?

The XP312w combines several pieces of traditional sound equipment into one portable system.

Inside the enclosure are the speaker, amplifier, rechargeable battery, mixer and wireless receiver system.

Use the included wireless handheld microphone for vocals, announcements or presentations.

Connect additional compatible microphones or audio sources through the onboard mixer.

Want to play music from your phone or tablet?

Pair a compatible device using **Bluetooth** and stream your music directly through the PA.

The integrated mixer lets you balance your different sources, adjust the overall tone and add reverb to appropriate microphone signals.

Instead of transporting a separate mixer, amplifier, speaker and wireless microphone receiver system, the XP312w puts the essential components into one mobile package.

### 300 Watts of Portable PA Power

The XP312w delivers **300 watts of peak power** through efficient Class D amplification.

Its 2-way speaker architecture combines a **12" low-frequency driver and 1" high-frequency driver** to reproduce both music and speech with clarity and impact.

That makes it useful for applications ranging from presentations and ceremonies to live vocals, fitness classes and event music.

### Rechargeable Battery – Up to 12 Hours

One of the biggest advantages of the XP312w is its internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Samson specifies **up to 12 hours of continuous battery operation**, depending on use and operating conditions.

That opens up possibilities for sound reinforcement in locations where electrical access may be inconvenient or unavailable.

Use it for:

- Wedding ceremonies

- Outdoor performances

- School activities

- Sporting events

- Corporate functions

- Fitness classes

- Worship and outreach

- Parties

- Presentations

- Mobile entertainment

- Rehearsals

- Community events

When AC power is available, the system can also be used in more conventional powered setups.

### Concert 88a UHF Wireless Handheld System Included

This XP312w configuration includes a **Samson Concert 88a frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless system**.

That means you can start using wireless voice or vocal amplification without immediately purchasing an entirely separate wireless microphone package.

The included system provides an operating range of up to approximately **300 feet under appropriate conditions**, giving singers, speakers, instructors and presenters freedom to move around the performance or event space.

### D-Band Wireless Configuration

This listing is specifically for the **D-Band version** of the XP312w wireless system.

Wireless frequency bands matter.

Different versions of wireless microphone equipment can operate within different frequency ranges, and appropriate frequencies can vary by equipment, location and applicable regulations.

Always verify that this **D-Band configuration is appropriate for your location and intended wireless setup** before purchasing or adding additional wireless equipment.

### Expand Your Wireless Setup

Need more than one wireless microphone?

The XP312w is designed with expansion in mind.

An additional receiver slot can accommodate another compatible **Samson Concert 88a Series wireless system**, sold separately.

A USB wireless port also supports compatible **Samson XPD Series USB digital wireless systems**, sold separately.

With the appropriate compatible equipment, the XP312w can support **up to three wireless systems simultaneously**.

That makes the system especially compelling for applications involving multiple speakers, performers or instructors.

### Bluetooth Wireless Audio Streaming

Built-in Bluetooth lets you wirelessly stream audio from compatible devices.

Pair a:

- Smartphone

- Tablet

- Laptop

- Other compatible Bluetooth audio source

and use the XP312w for playlists, backing tracks, presentation audio, walk-in music, intermission music and other playback.

For many events, that means one system can handle both the **wireless microphone and the music.**

### Built-In 4-Channel Mixer

The XP312w features an integrated **4-channel mixer** for connecting and controlling multiple audio sources.

Microphone and line-level connectivity allows compatible wired microphones, instruments and playback equipment to be incorporated into the system.

Independent level controls let you balance different sources without requiring a separate external mixer for straightforward applications.

### Built-In Reverb

Variable reverb is available for appropriate microphone and wireless channels.

For vocalists, reverb can add ambience and space to the sound, creating a more polished performance without requiring a separate external effects processor.

Presenters can simply leave the effect reduced or off when a more natural spoken sound is preferred.

### Voice Priority Ducking

The XP312w includes **Voice Priority** functionality.

When enabled, the system can automatically lower the music level when the appropriate microphone signal is present.

That can be extremely useful for:

**DJs & MCs** — Make announcements without manually lowering the music every time.

**Fitness Instructors** — Keep music playing while spoken instructions remain clear.

**Presenters** — Speak over background audio more effectively.

**Event Professionals** — Handle introductions and announcements with fewer manual adjustments.

### Bass & Treble EQ

A 2-band master EQ provides **Bass and Treble control** for adjusting the overall tonal balance of the system.

This lets users tailor the PA for different spaces and applications.

For example, speech may benefit from a different tonal balance than full-range music playback.

### Expand to Additional Speakers

A line output provides a way to send signal to compatible additional audio equipment or speaker systems.

This can be useful when the event requires additional sound coverage beyond a single XP312w.

### Designed to Move

The XP312w is designed around mobile use.

A **retractable handle and integrated wheels** make transportation easier, while the rugged polypropylene enclosure and steel grille help protect the system during regular event and performance use.

A standard **1 3/8" speaker-stand receptacle** also allows the PA to be elevated using a compatible stand.

Getting a PA above audience level can significantly improve sound distribution compared with simply placing the speaker on the floor.
