# Expedition XP312w – K Band Rechargeable Portable PA with Handheld Wireless System and Bluetooth® Samson Audio Tech/Pro Audio Gear

## Samson Expedition XP312w-K Rechargeable 300W Portable PA System with Wireless Microphone & Bluetooth

**Professional sound without being tied to a power outlet.**

The Samson Expedition XP312w-K is a powerful **300-watt rechargeable portable PA system** designed for musicians, DJs, presenters, schools, houses of worship, fitness instructors and event professionals who need dependable sound virtually anywhere.

Combining a rechargeable battery, 4-channel mixer, Bluetooth audio streaming and an included **Concert 88a frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless microphone system**, the XP312w gives you the essential tools for music and voice amplification in one highly portable system.

With up to **12 hours of battery operation**, built-in wheels and a retractable handle, it's ready for indoor venues, outdoor events and mobile applications where traditional AC-powered sound systems may be inconvenient.

### How Does the Samson Expedition XP312w Work?

The XP312w combines several pieces of traditional PA equipment into one integrated system.

Inside the enclosure you'll find the speaker, amplifier, rechargeable battery, mixer and wireless receiver system.

Connect a microphone or compatible audio device to the mixer—or use the included wireless handheld microphone.

Want to play music from your phone or tablet?

Pair a compatible device using **Bluetooth** and stream music wirelessly through the PA.

Adjust your levels, tone and reverb from the integrated mixer, and the built-in amplifier sends the finished signal through the speaker.

That means you can arrive at an event, position the XP312w, turn it on and build a complete sound setup without hauling a separate amplifier, mixer and wireless microphone receiver rack.

### 300 Watts of Portable PA Power

The XP312w uses efficient **Class D amplification** to deliver up to 300 watts of peak power.

Its 2-way speaker system combines a **12" low-frequency driver with a 1" high-frequency driver**, providing the range needed for clear speech, vocals and music playback.

Samson positions the XP312w as the largest model in this portion of its rechargeable Expedition range, making it particularly attractive for applications where smaller battery-powered speakers may not provide enough coverage.

### Rechargeable Battery – Up to 12 Hours

One of the XP312w's biggest advantages is its built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

A full charge provides **up to 12 hours of continuous operation**, depending on operating conditions.

That makes the XP312w particularly useful for:

- Outdoor performances

- Wedding ceremonies

- Corporate events

- School activities

- Fitness classes

- Sporting events

- Presentations

- Worship and outreach events

- Parties

- Mobile DJ applications

- Locations without convenient AC power

And when AC power is available, the system can be used as part of a more permanent sound setup.

### Wireless Handheld Microphone System Included

The XP312w includes a **Samson Concert 88a frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless system**.

That means the customer doesn't need to immediately purchase a separate wireless vocal microphone system just to get started.

The included wireless system offers an operating range of up to **300 feet under appropriate conditions**, giving singers, speakers, instructors and presenters freedom to move without remaining attached to the PA by a microphone cable.

### Expand Up to Three Wireless Systems

Need additional wireless microphones?

The XP312w is designed with expansion in mind.

In addition to the included Concert 88a system, it provides another receiver slot for adding a compatible **Concert 88a Series wireless system**, sold separately.

A USB wireless port also supports compatible **Samson XPD Series USB digital wireless systems**, sold separately.

With the appropriate compatible equipment, the XP312w can accommodate **up to three wireless systems simultaneously**.

That's a major advantage for applications involving multiple presenters, vocalists or instructors.

### Bluetooth Wireless Music Streaming

Built-in Bluetooth makes background music and playback simple.

Connect a compatible:

- Smartphone

- Tablet

- Laptop

- Bluetooth audio source

and stream music wirelessly to the XP312w.

This is especially useful for DJs, fitness instructors, ceremonies, presentations and events where you need both **wireless microphone audio and music playback from the same portable system.**

### Built-In 4-Channel Mixer

The XP312w includes a **4-channel mixer** for controlling multiple audio sources.

Its connectivity accommodates microphones and line-level equipment through XLR, 1/4" and 1/8" connections.

Each channel provides independent volume control, allowing different sources to be balanced for the event.

Instead of carrying a separate mixer for straightforward applications, the necessary mixing controls are already built into the PA.

### Built-In Reverb

A variable reverb control is provided for microphone and wireless inputs.

For vocal performances, reverb can add space and ambience to an otherwise dry microphone signal.

That can be especially useful for singers and live performers who want a more polished vocal sound without bringing an external effects processor.

### Voiceover Priority Ducking

The XP312w includes a particularly useful feature for instructors, presenters, DJs and event professionals: **voice priority ducking**.

When enabled, the system can automatically lower the music level when someone speaks or sings through the appropriate microphone input.

This means announcements can be heard clearly without someone having to manually reduce the background music every time the microphone is used.

It's an excellent feature for:

**Fitness Instructors** — Music can automatically move behind spoken instruction.

**DJs & MCs** — Make announcements over music more easily.

**Presenters** — Keep background audio running while ensuring speech remains intelligible.

**Events** — Make introductions and announcements without manually riding the music level.

### 2-Band Master EQ

A master **Bass and Treble EQ** allows the overall tonal balance of the system to be adjusted for the room or application.

Reduce excessive low frequencies in a difficult indoor space, add clarity for speech, or adjust the system to better complement music playback.

### Connect Additional Speakers

A line output allows the XP312w to feed compatible additional equipment or another speaker system.

This makes it possible to expand coverage when a single PA isn't enough for the venue.

For larger events, multiple systems can be incorporated into a broader sound setup.

### Built for Mobile Events

At approximately 38 pounds, the XP312w contains a substantial PA system without becoming impossible to transport.

A **retractable handle and built-in wheels** allow the system to roll between locations instead of requiring the user to carry it everywhere.

The rugged polypropylene enclosure and steel grille help protect the system during regular mobile use.

A standard **1 3/8" speaker stand socket** also allows the XP312w to be elevated on a compatible speaker stand for improved sound coverage.
