Shipping policy
We are all about delivering a flagship experience, whether you are buying a brand-new guitar, scoring a sweet deal on a used synth, or locking in a rental for your next tour. Because we work with an elite network of third-party partners to source the best gear, we take a few extra days upfront to make sure your payment is secure and your equipment is 100% ready to rock before it leaves the building.
The Pre-Shipment Breakdown
Before we hand your gear over to the delivery driver, it goes through a quick, mandatory prep sequence to keep everything safe and secure:
- Payment Check: Our payment networks take 1 to 3 business days to fully process and solidify your credit card charge.
- Partner Sync: We connect with our specialized third-party supplier network within 1 business day to claim your exact item.
- Gear Inspection: Our team checks the gear over. New items get a quick look-ready pass, while used items undergo a thorough diagnostic check to make sure they function flawlessly.
- Standard Wait Time: During normal months, it takes 3 to 7 business days total to get everything verified, packed, and out the door before transit begins.
High-Volume Seasonal Adjustments
Because we handle a high volume of specialized gear for major musical seasons, our fulfillment windows adjust during peak times. Please allow 7 to 14 business days for processing, verification, and dispatch during the following peak periods:
- Spring & Summer Festival Season (April through August)
- Back-to-School Rush (August through September)
- The Holiday Quarter (October through December)
Pro Tip: We highly recommend booking your rental, lease, or backline gear well in advance during these high-volume months to guarantee availability.
How Your Gear Travels
1. Instrument & Gear Sales (New & Used)
- On the Road: Expect your package to arrive 3 to 7 business days after it officially ships.
- Heavy-Duty Packing: We use custom boxes and thick foam padding so your gear handles the journey safely.
- Track Your Box: We will email you a tracking link the second the carrier scans your package.
2. Leases & Long-Term Rentals
- Paperwork First: Once your digital lease agreement and recurring billing are fully approved, your order hits the processing line.
- Save the Box: We send rentals in heavy-duty, reusable boxes and include return shipping labels. Hang onto the box for when your lease is up!
- Perfect Timing: We aim to get your rental to your door 2 to 3 days before your official start date.
3. Concert Backline & Large Production Gear
- Freight Shipping: Huge gear like drum kits, massive amps, and stage systems travel via specialized freight trucks.
- Drop-Off Scheduling: Our logistics team will coordinate an exact delivery window directly with you or your venue manager.
- Give Us a Heads Up: We need at least 14 business days notice for backline bookings to make sure logistics are perfectly dialed in.
Business Protection & Legal Disclaimers
Transfer of Risk & Title
All sales, rentals, and leases are shipped FOB Shipping Point. This means the risk of loss, damage, or theft transfers completely to you, the buyer or lessee, the moment we or our third-party partners hand the package over to the shipping carrier.
Delays and Force Majeure
We are not legally responsible or liable for delivery delays caused by events outside our control. This includes carrier delays, weather, labor strikes, customs backlogs, third-party stock discrepancies, or seasonal carrier volume surges. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Inspection & Damage Claims
You must fully inspect all instruments and gear within 48 hours of delivery. If your item arrives damaged from transit, you must preserve all original packaging and notify us immediately with photographic evidence so we can assist you in filing a carrier claim.
Delivery Rules & Restrictions
- Signature Needed: To protect high-value assets, all shipments over $500, plus all rentals and backline gear, require an adult signature at delivery.
- No PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes, unverified mail drops, or international freight forwarding hubs.
- Oversized Fees: Heavy or bulky backline gear may require an extra shipping fee, which you will see clearly at checkout.
Platform, Pricing, & Emerging Tech Protections
Automated Systems & AI Disclosure Clause
We utilize automated systems and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in managing inventory synchronization, optimizing shipping logistics, pricing configurations, and powering our virtual customer support channels. In compliance with emerging global and domestic AI regulations (including the EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act, and state privacy disclosures):
- Transparency: Automated systems are deployed strictly to improve operational transparency and efficiency.
- System Discrepancies: While our data streams update continuously, technical errors or automated "hallucinations" by third-party AI software regarding stock levels, shipping estimates, or pricing tiers do not form a binding contract. We reserve the right to cancel, adjust, or refund any automated order built upon verified data or system transmission errors.
The Anti-"Drip Pricing" and Transparent Fees Clause
In compliance with strict consumer protection measures (such as California's Honest Pricing Law / Anti-Drip Pricing regulations), all mandatory handling, preparation, and partner coordination charges are explicitly baked directly into the advertised item cost. Extra add-on selections (like optional physical delivery upgrades or freight overrides) are clearly separated and detailed dynamically at checkout before purchase to eliminate hidden costs.
Third-Party Shipping Insurance Disclaimer
If optional third-party shipping insurance or package protection is offered at the digital checkout window, it is entirely optional. Selecting or declining this coverage is a direct agreement between you and the third-party provider. Standard carrier baseline coverage (e.g., via FedEx or UPS) is utilized for standard shipments, but we accept no liability for the underwriting decisions, claims denials, or dispute resolutions handled by separate third-party indemnity groups.
Governing Law and Venue Jurisdiction
Any dispute, litigation, or claim arising out of this Shipping and Delivery Policy, transit damages, or order fulfillments shall be governed exclusively by the laws of our home state, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within our home county for any such legal proceedings
